You may be focused on ancestors in your own family line, but your efforts still benefit other people wanting to discover and connect with their families.
The Your Impact section of Get Involved highlights your volunteer contributions that result in either a name added to the Family Tree or an ordinance performed in the temple. If you see a name that you took to the temple, it means you also helped with a historical record that enabled the temple ordinance for that deceased person to occur.
Whether you indexed the record, reviewed the name, resolved the hint, or performed the ordinance, thank you for your contribution. You may be focused on ancestors in your own family line, but your efforts still benefit other people wanting to discover and connect with their families.
Thank you for your help!
